The 1Assist Marketing Team performed the following on this site remastering project:
- The CMS. CMS stands for content management system, and it is the most desirable structure for business web sites due to the flexibility and power they provide. Because the current site was based on an out-of-date template, the new Links Worldwide site was created using a modern theme that looks good on any device (desktop to mobile phone) and is far easier to update, now. The beta site does not rely on PDF downloads, but incorporates the content into the site pages, where it does visitors and the company more good. The beta site is built on the industry-leading CMS, WordPress.
- The architecture. With effective B2B web sites, there is always an underlying structure that leads the user to the information that answers their questions and to the next step of the sales process, as applicable. The old site was not designed with this in mind. The new site incorporates this feature, so that all of the supporting pages are linked to the 3 main offer pages.
- The market positioning and offers. The offer pages were redesigned and rewritten for improved readability and impact. Each time a request for more information is made from one of these pages, specific follow-up is provided to begin building the relationship with the customer from the moment of contact. A custom interactive calculator was added to the Golf Superticket page, as you’ll see. Please let us know what you think of this ability to calculate estimated profit at your event, based on the number of players, the rate of participation, and the ticket fee.
- The lead generation capabilities. The current site has no leadgen capabilities. The beta site allows visitors to step forward and request information on the services (What We Do) pages: Hole in One insurance, Golf Super Ticket, and Revenue Maximizer. In addition, we are also adding a designated lead magnet to capture more business leads of potential customers.
- The user experience. The current site is visually cluttered and disjointed – a visitor is uncertain what information, resources, and level of expertise is offered. The new beta site is much easier on the eye, uses a consistent color palette, original design (not clip art), and offers easy paths to finding the answers and help that a potential customer needs.
What to do next: In the next tab, Step 2, please click the button to open the existing site look through the pages so that they are fresh in your mind as you then click the link to open the new beta site.

Keep in mind:
The new beta site will be launched by the end of this week. It is 98% complete, so if you find anything that needs to be corrected, we would greatly appreciate your bringing it to our attention. You have much more golf knowledge than we do and you will be using a different set of devices to look at the pages than we have. We include this beta review step in all of our web remastering projects for exactly the benefits that “fresh and friendly eyes” like yours bring.
